2009 West Seattle Street Fair
This weekend was the West Seattle Street Fair, where The Alaska Junction is closed to cars and open for street vendors who sell Elephant Ears … and other things. Annie believes that the entire weekend revolves around eating fried dough covered in cinnamon and sugar. (Click on the image to access some of the pics from weekend)
Seattle Winter Storm
Seattle’s snow removal infastructure is designed to handle small scale snow flurries. (1-3 inches) The fact that we have over a foot of fresh snow on the ground in West Seattle means big trouble for us. Image Gallery

Alki Artwalk
It’s a cloudy morning at The Alki Art Walk. Annie and I are spending the morning with her college roommate Emily and her friend Jenny who are visiting from out of town. With any luck, the clouds will burn off and it will be a nice day.
